Makeup Tips
- To cover blemishes using a brush, stroke a little concealer and no-color powder onto the brush and then apply to the blemish. It will stay better.
- A fresh and natural look in makeup would be wearing a tinted moisturizing cream, a light blush or bronzer for your cheeks, a light coating of mascara and lipgloss. Let your natural beauty show through!
- When using powdered brow color, use a harder bristled angle brow brush and draw tiny hair-like strokes. When using a brow pencil, maintain a sharp edge and use the same technique as the brush. Use a disposable mascara wand to soften.
- If you have lines above your lips, use a lipliner pencil before lipstick. That will keep your lipstick from bleeding. Only use gloss on the lower lip and press lips together. For longer lasting lip color fill the lip in with pencil and add lipstick sparingly.
- "Pretty and sexy" comes from within as well as how you wear your makeup. Wear a minimal amount of makeup, i.e. blush, lip color, and mascara. Smile, have a friendly attitude, and you will glow.
- For minor mishaps...Did you smear your mascara? Is your blusher or eye shadow too dark or the wrong color? For a quick and easy spot removal, use a Q-tip dipped in makeup remover. It´s easy to get into a small area without having to start all over and it works great!
- In dry climates, as well as on an airplane, use an herbal spray on your face.
- If you have puffy eyelids don't use iridescent or pearled shadows in light colors or white. Use softer, matte colors.
- Beauty consultants help customers choose cosmetics and show them how to use them. Beauty consultants should: be good at selling, be helpful, friendly and polite have some artistic ability and a gentle touch for applying make-up and giving and or discuss facials with their clients.
